Welcome to our 30th Annual Conference

The Global Health Council invites healthcare providers, community organizers, program managers, policy makers, researchers, and advocates from around the world to attend our 30th Annual Conference.

This year our conference focuses on health and the environment. At the Global Health Council's 30th Annual Conference, we will come together to address the relationship between our health and the environment in which we live. We will address not only the physical, but the social and economic environmental factors that pose health risks in the world's poorest countries. By sharing our expertise, we will arm ourselves to take action to diminish those risks. We will also bring the voice of the global health community to the front lines of the ongoing dialogue about international environmental policy.

Tapdik Peace Mandala

During our Annual Conference, a monk of the Namgyal Monastery in Ithaca, New York, has been constructing a Tapdik Peace Mandala.

Please join us at 10:00am on Friday, 30 May, in the Exhibition Hall to view the dismantling of the Tapdik Peace Mandala. Upon being dismantled, the sand will be cast in a body of water. This process symbolizes the transience of life and the ideal of non-attachment to the material world.
