Harambee 2002 International Prize: Reportage on Africa

The Harambee 2002 International Prize, named after the fund of the same name, is awarded to artistic endeavours (i.e. video reporting) which educate and promote humanitarian efforts in sub-saharan African countries. Harambee 2002 ("All together" in Swahili) is a project born to herald the canonisation of San Josemaria Escriva on October 6, 2002. Projects submitted should deal with topics such as ethics, religion, social, economic, and cultural issues relevant to sub-saharan Africa. The prize is sub-divided into three categories concerning NGOs operating in Sub-Saharan Africa. The winner in each category will receive Euro 10.000.
  • Prize awarded to African productions;

  • Prize awarded to non-African productions;

  • Prize awarded to organisations, non-governmental, that operate in Africa.
All submissions must be sent by September 30 2004.
