World Health Day 2005
Make Every Mother and Child Count
The World Health Organization is pleased to announce healthy mothers and children as the theme for World Health Day 2005. This is also the subject of the World Health Report 2005, which will be launched on World Health Day, on 7 April 2005.
The slogan for World Health Day 2005 is "Make every mother and child count", which reflects the reality that today, the health of women and children is not a high enough priority for many governments and the international community.
