The HPV Vaccines: From Development to Distribution

The overwhelming majority of cervical cancers are caused by HPV infection. With the development of a new vaccines, we now have the power to stop a deadly cancer in it tracks. However, political opposition, social concerns and financial constraints still plague the effort. This panel focused on the HPV vaccines from development and distribution to what it means in terms of reproductive and adolescent health and as a pre-cursor to a future AIDS vaccine.
