Cost Analysis of Essential Curative Health Services in Church Health Facilities

In an effort to provide innovative, evidence-based information that would enable church health institutions to make decisions, Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) commissioned a detailed study to analyze total costs for providing an array of curative services defined by the Ministry of health (MoH) as essential. The list of services whose costs were analyzed was wide-ranging as it also incorporated the National Social Health Insurance Scheme (NSHIS) defined conditions for reimbursement, which includes some services excluded in the MOH essential coverage.
