At the XVIII International AIDS Conference in Vienna


GHC and partner organizations GHESKIO, Partners In Health and Management Sciences for Health organized a press conference on July 20, 2010 in the Media Centre entitled "HIV/AIDS after the Earthquake: How Haiti is sustaining prevention and care in the midst of a disaster." Speakers included:
  • Jean William Pape, founder and director of GHESKIO, the 2010 winner of the Gates Award for Global Health
  • Paul Farmer, founder and director of Partners In Health and deputy United Nations special envoy for Haiti
  • Jonathan Quick, president and CEO of Management Sciences for Health
  • Jeffrey L. Sturchio, president and CEO of Global Health Council
