All conference events are located at the conference venue, Omni Shoreham Hotel, unless otherwise noted.

Please note that agenda items and times are subject to change. We recommend that you view this page again during the week prior to the conference for the latest confirmed times.

SESSION TYPES:

Panel: Moderated 2-hour sessions in which three presenters have approximately 15 minutes each to present, followed by a question-and-answer period. There are eight sessions taking place concurrently in each 2-hour session period. These sessions will take place on June 2, 3 and 4.

Poster: This session will take place in the Exhibition Hall on Wednesday, June 2nd from 5:30–7 pm. Each presenter is provided with a 4 x 3-foot bulletin board area to place charts, graphs, photos, text and other artifacts that describe his/her project or study. All poster presenters will be available during this session to speak with participants about their work. The posters will remain up for viewing through Thursday evening.

Roundtable: This session will take place in several different rooms, organized by theme/topic and/or key health issue, on Wednesday, June 2 at 2–3:30 pm. Each presenter sits at a table with a small group of participants to discuss a program or research topic. During the 90-minute session, each presenter will give his/her presentation twice so participants will have the opportunity to attend two roundtable presentations. The session will flow as follows: the presenter has 15 minutes to present, followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer period; the participants have the opportunity to change tables and then the process starts over again for the second time.

Workshop: The 3-hour workshops will take place on Tuesday, June 1. There are four workshops taking place concurrently in the morning (9 am–Noon) and four in the afternoon (1–4 pm). The workshops are skill-building, interactive sessions, combining discussion, case studies, and small group or individual exercises.
